It could be Andy, but sounds even more tricky for the likes of me, but it does give me an idea - if I can manage to find the cut reverse wire, I can reconnect in parrallel with the current fog light switch wire to have both a fog light and both rear reverse lights
Just a minute though Andy - Your switch / resistor setup - Can the fog light actually be white then? I thought they had done a half job on mine by mistake !!

No Stu........i think it has to be a red bulb/lens......my 4 rear brake/driving light's are red and one of them is utilized........

I understand now Andy. Utilising one of the rear reverse lights. That's a good idea, but all of my 4 reverse lights use LEDs not bulbs, can the intensity be altered through resistors with those things? I have no idea.

Well, a quick update on the GT4.
The GT4 as gone away now to Silverline to have the work done to it.
I was told yesterday that the Link ECU is in and running.

Yeah, Turbosmart are excellent according to Steve at silver line, well the mechanical stuff is. apparently the electrical stuff is not very good though.
Anyway, the link ecu is in and running with a base map, and there is a chance that it will all be done before Christmas.
The ecu was done first to make sure it works, rather than doing it all at once, just incase somethings wrong, we can eliminate the ecu, if you get my meaning.
the thing we are not sure about is the intercooler, whether it is going to be good enough for cooling. The intake temp will be monitored while mapping and we'll see if it is good enough.
i'm also removing the drivers seat for a bucket seat, (which should help, as the standard drivers seat with the leather and motors for lumber and bolster control weigh about 45kg, the seat i'm looking into is only 7.5kg) and then when on the drag strip it'll be stripped out of Passenger seat, rear seats etc which all combined is about 85kg stock. then the sound deadening in the dash board/front of car is about 45kg will be removed. Also the Standard manifold (both inlet and exhaust are being replaced) downpipe, lightweight flywheel, air con compressor removed and other bits and bobs, such as bonnet replaced for a carbon one should add upto about 30-40kg.
So roughly 75kg for interior, 45kg sound deadening, engine stuff and bonnet 30-40kg, thats roughly 150-160kg lighter, so about 1340-1350kg instead of 1500kg. Like i said its only roughly calculated for now, but you get the idea.
oh yeah, i might be able to push the turbo to 1.6 bar not 1.5 bar, i know it's only 0.1 bar extra, but as tesco say \"Every little helps.
Tony
