Bought a Z, so i started a thread.

Just a quick update..

A pillars are almost finished pending triming
Door woofer custom pods are built pending triming
..need to decide what to trim them with now. Was thinking either vinyl to match head cloth i.e.light beige, black vinly to match the plastics or 3m di-noc vinyl wrap. Not sure on this yet. Vinly wrap comes to over £80 just for wrap material for this.

Had a delivery from Cusco yesterday along with some new hoses, so the engine bay should start to look a little cleaner soon. Taking the cusco strut bar end fabs to be painted today.

The car is now at the end of week two in the paint shop, i'm told it will be ready in a week or so

Update ..

The bodywork is coming along nicely and should be done for next weekend hopefully, just in time for xmas and a monster audio install ..

Just realised i didn't upload any photo's of the door pod builds. For those that are interested, here goes ..





























So thats all of the fibreglass now complete and ready for trimming. I'll be visiting a trimmer once i get the car back so that i can match the materials to the car interior. I made the most of the good weather yesterday and cut all of the mdf for the rear sub and amp enclosure which took most of the day. All coming together nicely.

Thanks guys, really looking forward to getting the car back now, especially as the audio is also painfully close to being finished. Had to pop down there today to solve a wiring issue on the fog light. It's so close now, glass and bumpers go back on tomorrow then remaining body kit pieces and carbon goodies - just a few more days. Took s few teaser snaps while i was there..

Well i got her back just in time for xmas. Had a good look over it and it's pretty much spot on. There are a few little things to get sorted in the new year - but all in all an excellent job by Paul at Bodymatters - much recommended..



Once xmas is out of the way i'll switch the wheels over and take some better pics.

Also, i had my first go at wraping some di-noc carbon wrap today, must say its much easier than i thought and the finish is superb..
