My xmas is complete. Will be installing the audio over the next few months ready for the first shows of the yr. may even try my luck in an audio comp (EMMA) - probably fail misaerably but worth a try, you never know..

Big thanks to Mr.G and Greg for offering to help out with the suspension, i'd very much appreciate your help with installing the new coilovers once they arrive as i've never done this before..

Ok so the Tanabe coilovers just turned up today ..



The only issue is i bought these second hand and there's no keys for adjusting the spring positions. Are these a standard item and does anyone know where i can get some from?

I have some hinged adjustable "c"spanners at work.........your guys should have "c" spanners Dave.........

you can try mine dave, i have 2 of different sizes. i used a hammer and a screwdriver

We could get the Clumposaurus to adjust/knacker them......if we can coax him out of his tyre....

Tommo is very kindly calling by tomorrow so i will try his spanners on the coilovers, hopefully won't be too far away from fitting them then. I got the wheels cleaned, waxed and fitted yesterday in the rain and snow . Spent all of today fitting the sound deadening and damping layers to the doors - also a whole load of fun in the rain and wind..

and one layer of luxery liner pro decoupled on top takes care of blocking road noise..


It's gettin there, would be much easier if the weather would let up!
