Well, I for one would miss the casual attitude at the shows, no infighting, just a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of drunken banter (which I'm exempt from). I kind of fell into this club after my first events with a marque-specific owners club, and if it wasn't for you guys, I wouldn't be attending anything tbh, I can do without the grief the single model clubs seem to generate.

I know I'm not a massive post whore on the forums, more of a consumate lurker, coming out every now and then to mock Mr G, but I'd certainly miss the people if the club were to wind up.

As far as the 'float' idea, I don't have an issue with this, and whenever I see Tommo I usually bung him a note or two for the club funds. I also appreciate the way Tommo tries his hardest to sort the stands out, and also fronts my ticket money, as I can't just pop out to Stafford and drop it off. For starters, with the v-power the stagea uses, I'd be paying double for every show

Is this AGM open to all members, or is it just for organising a committee to run the club? If it's the former, then you can put my name down. If it's the latter, I'll have to pass, as I may well be leaving the country this year.

Well it would be initially a 3 month secondment, with possibility of permanent if I like it, still not confirmed as yet though but if the chance arrives, I'm grabbing it.

I am in complete agreement with everything said...When me & greg first got together you guys were all so welcoming of me dispite the fact it was painfully obvious that i knew naff all about cars!! I love being apart of the group and thanks to you guys i now know a lot more...for example what an intercooler does!!!

I know that me and greg have been part of the distant crowd over the last 12-18 months but i can honestly say that this has been down to lack of cash and not lack of interest/commitment to the club. WE LOVE U GUYS!!!

Im so excited to get my first car (once iv bloody passed!) and cant wait for u guys to help me turning it into a J-n-C monster

We all need to pull our socks up and do as many meets/events etc as possible this year (including a big bbq at ours)and get our J-n-C flag flying high and show all the other clubs wot we'r made of!!

If the club splits up then think of what we'l all miss.....Gregs arse...pabs & rich gay dance offs ..... Mr G's filthy mind....the drinking....the banter...the laughs...the goosing!!!!!!

As Club fund Secritary it would be piss poor if i did'nt attend... wouldn't it.

Seriously tho, Dave and Tommo don't get the support / Thanks they deserve. As for commetment to attending the shows, i admit i have been lacking.... Without wanting to make excuses (But i will), my general "Car" enthusiasm has been hit buy the lack of my "project" car.


If it's decided to use the Club fund as a "Float" for the Purchaseing of the Clubstand/tickets while waiting for payments to land, and seeing that i hold the proverbial "Purse Strings" for the Club, would it not be easier if i organise the club stands etc? Something to discuss at the meeting....


I would concur with Ikarus, Minty, Andy, Greg, Nicki and Bry that it would be a crying shame to let the Good Ship JNC go under.

The Core Members need to stand together and support this great club.

obviously i feel the same as all of the above posts. With me i have a distance issue so it would be good for me if any such meeting could happen at an event rather than a pub at 7pm on a tuesday night. Failing that i would be happy to go along with whatever is agreed at the meeting.
On another point what lengths does the club go to to attract new members as with any clubs you will always get some that fall away due to other life priorities and change of circumstances etc so maybe we should all chip in for some cards to be printed so we can have a few in our pockets so if any of us get chatting to someone that seems genuine and has an intersting jap car we could give them a card with the clubs details etc. im not suggesting we go around sticking them under wipers at shows etc but just have a few in our pockets/wallets to give out if needs be.
