Amazing what you can acheive when you try.......painting is all about patience and preparation.....
Years ago i have painted massive areas on cars just using rattle tins........as long as you flat the areas and smooth in coats with very fine media you shouldn't have too much trouble........good work mate

fitted the sprayed bumper today

also had a leak in the boot coming from the passenger side, after a bit of investigation while the bumper was off i noticed that the drain from the sunroof was full of dirt and muck, completly blocking it. gave it a good clean out so that should be solved

drain after i de-gunked it

so saturday morning i spent stripping out the rear of the lude
this is what came out

pimp interior for sale
the seatbelt mechanisms dont half weigh a bit :shock:
also fitted my rear brace
so heres what it looks like now

relocated the 4ws ecu backwards on the same holes dodgey, but it works

its like tar, cant get the stuff off

yeah took it out over the weekend, for the 1st time and gave it a good blast, had a bit of a tussle with an ek9 too

really looking forward to taking it to the strip now and some trackdays

had a spare set of folding mirrors so i sprayed them satin black

but them on the tracklude as the old 1's had stick on indicators, 1 of which had been ripped off.
so it looks a bit more tidy now

the mirrors i took off i'm going to take apart to start a retro fit power folding mirrors to the UKDM lude 8-)
