Wonder if anyone can help...my mates got a Scooby that's stood for about 4 days and when he took the expansion cap off there was some built-up pressure that forced some coolant out. Does anyone know if this is normal for Scooby's? It's a red top STI. Doesnt sound much to me but I dont really know a lot about them! Thanks!

Not a scooby expert....but it sounds like a lot of air in the system.....

Had a look on a scooby forum and the only coolant related question i managed to find was here:
www.subaru-impreza.org/forum/engine-bay/...system-question.html
May or may not help, maybe there is to much cooloant in the expansion tank and some trapped air bubbles
