for a while the vehicross install hasn't been working properly, potential issue was the remote feed from the headunit. Andy has now brought a nice sony double din dvd unit to replace the old single din jvc. when asked to fit it, of course i said, it will only take 5 mins. How wrong was I!

due to the single din being located in the bottom half of the dash all the wiring needed extending/replacing. so i ended up stripping the lot and pretty much starting again, so with it all plugged in and connected i tested the system and still had no power to the amps, after checking over every connection i found the fuse holder under the bonnet to be damaged and actually causing the issue all along, now that is replaced the system works great again, all that's left is to put the sub cables on a proper plug for easy removal when needed. and to sort the reverse camera out to work through the headunit

So what is this motor? Off roader? Is it a throw out from a Dakar production run?

Yeah it was a Halo car from Isuzu......They won the 98 and 99 Dakar with them.....the engine is a 3.2 litre quad cam v6......it spreads the power similar to a GTR or you can have various drive combinations with Difflocks....it runs about 220 bhp............pretty rare
