Rising Sun Car Show 2012 - 26th/27th May

This post is to determine what interest we as a club have in attending The Rising Car Show 2012.

Those of you that attended last year will know how quiet the show was and it is a shame to have to say that maybe we will have little interest in it this year unless something great is promised by the organisers. So n to the details:

Date: 26th & 27th May

Location:

Lincolnshire County Showground, Grange-de-Lings, Lincoln, LN2 2NA

Pre Booked Weekend tickets are £14

One Day Tickets are £10 on each day

Weekend tickets on the gate are: £20

To book a stand we need a minimum of 10 cars, so that is £140 to secure a stand!

Please discuss below. Please do not make a list at this point, if we have enough interest I will create a list within this post and manage it. We only need one list.

I'm up for it and I'm sure I can persuade the other two from my end, although Alison is now pregnant so may not be too keen on camping overnight!! I need to check at work I can have the Sunday off but I'll see when I go back to work on Sunday. In the meantime I'll try and drum up some interest elsewhere!!

I will book for us but we need TEN confirmed attendees - Early ticket price is £14 per head so I need £140 to book us a space! Everyone should have my number but you can either paypal me the money or send it by bank transfer to the club account. Text me and I will give you the details. Or if Mr G collects the money he can paypal it too me!

Ok mate I've definatly got 3 cars coming with potentially 6 people
