Mr. G's new Work Truck.......

Been out searching for a replacement for the "Pig Truck"...........all day and nowt to show for it.......seen some real "bags o kak" today..........what some people consider good condition has to be seen to be believed......It gets a bit annoying to be presented with trucks described as good condition,and then seeing a rusty pile of dented shit dropping apart in front of your eyes with interiors that pigs have vomited in...!!!!
I fully expect a few scratch's and dents,it is after all a work truck, but some people really take the piss....lol
Current contenders are....
1. Mitsubishi L200
2.Isuzu TF
3.Mazda b2500
4.Ford Ranger......!!!!!!!!(Shock Horror non Jap)......same as Mazda....lol
Ideas anyone........

Hilux is another option, indestructible but they are all good options

Missed out by an hour yesterday.....i rang a dealer at 12.00pm to check if Truck was stil there.......got there for 3.00pm,only to find Truck had sold an hour before i got there..... ......You think he could have contacted me to save wasting time and fuel.......

Don't know how much ur Lookin to spend but there is a black and silver 03plate l200 at a garage by work , it's about 2995

Well within budget......where's that.......

Giving up on L200's now......all the ones i have seen for 3-4 grand have been crap......plus i have been warned off them by a few people in the know one guy i know has seen at least 15 of them with knackered cylinder heads...!!!!!
Gonna get an old school Isuzu TF with the indestructable 3.1 td engine.....they are a bit ugly but are tough as old boots and should serve me well......lol

Result........Got a 51 plate Isuzu TF for a good price..........also got a set of mud pluggers thrown in..........had to go to Wales for it though.....so its goodbye "Pig Truck",and hello "Sheep Sh***er"..............

Took the Pig Truck to the "Slaughter House" earlier........will miss that old tank.......i picked it up for £500.00 and got £200.00 scrap for my old Daihatsu at the time,so it only cost £300.00 in actual fact......and i got £250.00 scrap for it,so it only cost £50.00 in all reality....

Bargain motoring indeed!
