    HELP NEEDED – Jap-N-Crazy to be shutdown – unless we get help!

 

    Over the last few months I have noticed a steady decline in usage of the forum/website. Show turn outs weren’t fantastic and our hardcore team has disbanded. I am fairly certain not many will even read this but I have to post it through principle.I was spending a large amount of my personal time on working on the sites, and for those of you who aren’t too familiar with web design, site cosmetics and site maintenance in general, it is time consuming, tedious and morale sapping.
    When you spend three or four hours a night doing this after a full days work it’s tiring.I stopped doing it because I was seeing very little in the way of site usage. On top of the fact it costs me, personally, £150 per year for hosting this site and a few others it is costly in more way than one, there are easier hosting options but it will still cost me money.I can not produce t shirts as I can not get the art work, people have shown little interest in promoting the club and generally participating on the forum and it’s demoralizing.
     I know people have lives to lead and the economy in this country is geared to rape us of every penny we own but come on people whats happening?I have made a decision to give the Jap-n-Crazy site, forum and club until 31st March, if nobody shows any interest in the site then it will be CLOSED down for good! Yes, I said closed down!
    A hard decision to make but whats the point of paying for a site that has no regular vistors, no posts for weeks at a time and why should I spend all my spare time working on something thats not productive in anyway. I have spoken to GTIR350 about this and he is of the same mind, if people are not interested shut it down.
    So the ultimatum is we ALL crack on and try and breath some life back into the site, find some fresh faces and re vitalise the club before the show season or we give up now!
     You can post your opinions, ideas and remarks as a comment reply here on the main page or on the forum, choice is yours!
    I said when I took the site over I would spend as much time as was needed to get things how they needed to be on the site and I would promote the site, but website promotion in itself is a tireless exercise that needs doing everyday to make it work, time I don’t have for something that produces no visible results. I can’t do everything myself!
    So do we let the jap-n-crazy name disappear and I take the site down on 31st March or will people make the site work.
    As an example, it has taken me 3 hours tonight (25/01/2012) to redesign  the home page again,!
